Product Overview

The AFAK was designed by Tactical Medical Solutions to provide soldiers and law enforcement officers with a complete, immediately deployable trauma kit that works within the physical constraints of operational kit. At 6.5"H × 4.5"W × 3"D, the AFAK occupies roughly the same space as a large magazine pouch, yet contains enough supplies to intervene on the three leading causes of preventable combat death: extremity hemorrhage, tension pneumothorax, and airway obstruction.

The Tourniquet Strap System — a TacMed innovation — provides a secondary retention method that keeps the SOF® Tourniquet secured to the pouch exterior for rapid one-handed access while the main kit remains sealed. The OLAES® Modular Bandage is one of the most versatile trauma dressings available, functioning simultaneously as a pressure dressing, wound packing device, and improvised chest seal (via its built-in occlusive plastic film). The Beacon™ Chest Seal provides a dedicated vented or non-vented chest seal option for open thoracic wounds.

The optional QuikClot® hemostatic upgrade adds CoTCCC-recommended hemostatic wound packing capability for deep or arterial wounds where tourniquet application is not possible. For departments or units specifying a standardized kit, the AFAK is available in Black, OD, Coyote Tan, and Multicam to match operational coloration requirements. See also the IFAK Kits collection for comparison with the TacMed Downed Officer Kit and LAPD Kit.

All products sourced from the actual brand manufacturer or authorized master distributors. CoTCCC recommendation status verified where applicable. Ships from MED-TAC International, Pembroke Pines, FL — clinician-founded, veteran-led, SDVOSB-certified.
